The German National committee for international youth work (DNK) represents the German youth organisations in multilateral contexts. If that sounds complicated, don’t worry: it is actually quite easy – DNK builds a bridge between German organisations and international counterparts or umbrella organisations. DNK functions as the gateway for the ‘import and export’ of youth work.
Teamwork matters: DNK is a joint working group of the German Federal Youth Council (DBJR), the Council of Political Youth organisations (RPJ) and the German Sports Youth (DSJ). We promote diversity in order to speak with a strong voice in the interest of all youth.
DNK is not a co-ordinator for bilateral youth relations. Those are directly maintained and carried by our three pillars (DBJR, DSJ, RPJ) and their respective member organisations.
