Call for applications: Youth delegates to the 2025 UN General Assembly
The Youth Delegate Programme for the UN General Assembly is organised by the German Society for the United Nations (DGVN) and the German National Committee for International Youth Work (DNK). The aim is to provide young people in Germany with a platform to raise awareness of their perspectives at an international level.
We offer participants in the Youth Delegate Programme for the UN General Assembly the chance to advocate for greater youth participation at the United Nations. Participation in the Youth Delegate Programme to the UN General Assembly is a demanding voluntary role offering many opportunities for personal development.
As part of the Germany Tour, the delegates work independently across the country to impart knowledge about the UN and global issues to young people through interactive workshops. They take part in the UN General Assembly in New York and bring the concerns of young people directly to the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, which deals with social, humanitarian and human rights issues. The programme also includes work shadowing in government departments, networking meetings with international partners and collaboration with both full-time and voluntary staff.
