DNK delegation heads to the Y7 Summit

Youth 7 (Y7) will take place in Paris from 17 to 20 May 2026. The German delegation will bring young people’s perspectives to the negotiations, during which recommendations for the G7 summit in Évian will be drawn up.

The following individuals are representing the DNK in the preliminary negotiations, which have been ongoing since March, under the leadership of Isabel Rutkowski: Ben Aichele on the “Geopolitical Upheavals” track, Johnny Bonk on “Technological Disruptions”, Feodora Lüdemann on “Economic & Demographic Imbalances” and Isabel Rutkowski on “Ecological Crises”.

The delegation was selected through an open application process and has been preparing for the summit since February through internal DNK onboarding sessions, discussions with relevant political stakeholders, and exchanges with the various G7 engagement groups at the Chancellery. The young delegates’ recommendations are intended to contribute positions on geopolitical, technological, economic-demographic and ecological issues to the G7 process, thereby helping to shape the international political process.

About the Y7 Summit
