Özge Erdoğan, Deputy Chair of the Federal Youth Council, has been re-elected as spokesperson for the National Committee for International Youth Work. Alisan Yasar from the Junge Union has been newly elected to the team as Deputy Spokesperson. Kirsten Hasenpusch from the German Sports Youth and Johanna Börgermann (Jusos) from the Ring of Political Youth Organisations remain as deputy spokespersons.
The German National Committee for International Youth Work represents German youth organisations at the multilateral level. It is a working group comprising the German Federal Youth Council, the German Sports Youth and the Ring of Political Youth Organisations.
One of the DNK’s key tasks is to reach agreements on the joint international work of youth organisations in Germany. The decisive body is the DNK Executive Board, to which all three pillars belong. These are the Bundesjugendring, the Deutsche Sportjugend and the Ring politischer Jugendorganisationen. The elected team of DNK spokespersons coordinates the work between Executive Board meetings.
